If your loved one needs dental care in this area, you can count on Dr. Neville to help them.

How Dr. Neville Got Started in the Dentistry Business

Ever since she was ten years old, Dr. Neville knew for a fact that she wanted to grow up and become a dentist. After years of dedicated hard work, Dr. Neville graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2004 and opened her own practice. Today, she offers mobile dentistry services to elderly patients who can’t leave home because of dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Are You Able to Fix Broken Dentures?

Dentures are important because they help patients eat, speak, chew, and smile after losing their own teeth. We are able to repair and replace broken dentures during a house call visit without the patient having to leave home.

Why Dr. Neville Loves Working with the Geriatric Population

Dental care is important for all ages, but the geriatric population is often underserved. Due to lack of access to dental care, many geriatric patients experience poor dental health and the complications associated with tooth decay. Dr. Neville is personally invested in helping geriatric patients because her grandmother was afraid of the dentist and suffered severe dental complications. Dr. Neville is a knowledgeable, compassionate dentist who can help your loved one get the dental care they need to stay healthy.

How Do We Make Our Patients Feel Safe?

Before and during the dental visit, we try to reduce uncertainty as much as possible. We will talk to the caregiver before we come to the home and explain to them everything we are going to do over the phone. Once we arrive at the patient’s home, we don’t just rush in and start with the appointment. We take our time to make caregivers and patients feel comfortable and secure before beginning the procedure. We love answering your questions and clearing up any concerns before the appointment. We specialize in treating patients with dementia, so we have tricks we can use to help them feel safe and cooperative during their appointment.

How Can Caregivers Prepare for Their Loved One’s Dental Appointment?

The two most important things we need are information and space. When you contact us, we are going to ask you to describe your loved one’s dental problem in as much detail as you can. We may even ask for pictures. Knowing ahead of time what the patient needs helps us come prepared. All we ask is that you have your loved one ready and waiting for us in a clean, uncluttered space where we can complete the visit that has access to a power outlet. Other than that, we are completely self-sufficient. We bring everything we need to care for your loved one from the comfort of their home.
