Geriatric Housecall Dentistry is now serving patients in Connecticut. We provide care to bedbound and housebound patients who often have cognitive disabilities like dementia. We offer the following services to help our patients maintain excellent oral health and hygiene.
- Denture fabrication and repair: Our dentists can create a new set of dentures or repair an existing set.
- Routine dental exams: Routine dental exams are important for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. We offer in-home dental exams for bedbound patients.
- Teeth cleaning: Teeth cleaning can go to the wayside if a patient forgets or refuses to brush their teeth. We can step in and provide professional teeth cleaning services for elderly patients.
- Crown and bridge repairs: We can repair broken bridges and replace lost crowns.
- Cavity repairs: Cavities can become infected if left untreated. We offer low-invasive cavity repair for our elderly patients.
- Extractions: Although we try to save all viable teeth, we can perform an extraction if necessary.
- Teledentistry: If a home visit isn’t possible, we can schedule a dental visit over the phone to help a housebound patient.
- Emergency dental care: GHD patients can rely on us if they are experiencing a dental emergency.
